Researcher from Germany Lectures EIC courses

This is my fifth time at Tecnológico de Monterrey University. This summer I’m teaching a graduate class and conducting a project-based course.” said Dominic Gorecky. The course “Automation in Manufacturing Systems: Digital Factory” lectured by the German Professor.

The main approach of the Digital factory is to enhance the production processes using technology. That’s why the tools and methodologies use seamless data for tasks.

The students are from the Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems (MSM) and the Master in Automotive Engineering (MIR).”The Digital Factory can decrease the need for prototyping” concluded Gorecky. “If we produce in a Digital Factory it will take less time than conventional methods.”
